Tokyo Port City Takeshiba Residence Tower

Landscape

The landscape design for the square adjoining Takeshiba Station took advantage of a coral reef garden plaza concept. The design configures colorful vegetation in a curvilinear orientation while integrating lighting, shapes and colors strongly resembling coral reef. The benches conform to this curvilinear shape to provide a lush, leisurely space offering a sense of freedom outdoors. The design encouraging outdoor meetings and various other activities aims to foster the same spontaneous creativity as an indoor environment.
