Heading towards Shibuya City Office from Shibuya station, the building is located in front of the outstanding greenery of Yoyogi Park and Meiji Shrine. Within this context, the building is designed with a mix of two colour schemes, “Sei” as in powerful and peaceful green and “Sabi” as in quiet residential area. The welcoming green wall at the entrance hall is emphasizing the concept of the project colour, also green colour gradation used all over the interior design blends into the great external green setting. Shibuya City office as an open public facility breaks interior-exterior boundaries and blends into the city.
